NEW YORK – Oct. 3, 2024 – Greenberg Traurig, LLP represented MXT Infrastructure Holdings (MXT Holdings) in its acquisition of Centennial Towers from Madison Dearborn, which won the Digital Infrastructure Deal of the Year – LATAM award at the 2024 TMT USA M&A Awards event Sept. 26. The TMT M&A USA Awards showcase the most significant digital infrastructure transactions of the year, recognizing the leading dealmakers, investors and advisors within the industry.
MXT Holdings is a telecommunications infrastructure company based in Mexico, whose current investors are Mexico Infrastructure Partners (MIP), the leading asset manager of investment funds in the infrastructure and energy sectors in Latin America and ARDIAN, a world-leading private investment fund.
Greenberg Traurig acted as (i) International and Mexican counsel to MIP in the sale of a 50% co-control equity interest in MXT Holdings to ARDIAN; and (ii) International and Mexican counsel to MXT Holdings, MIP and ARDIAN in the simultaneous acquisition of Centennial Towers from Madison Dearborn.
