WARSAW - January 24, 2020 - The Warsaw office of Greenberg Traurig has advised Madison International Realty, a leading real estate private equity firm, on the preliminary agreement regarding the acquisition of a 46.5% stake in European Logistics Investment, holding a Polish real estate warehouse portfolio valued at approximately EUR 500 million, from majority owner Redefine Properties Limited. The transaction is subject to customary anti-trust approval and certain other conditions.
The Greenberg Traurig team is led by Partner Radomił Charzyński, who is supported by Senior Associate Kamil Majewski with respect to all real estate aspects of this transaction. The multidisciplinary team of experts also includes Partner Robert Gago, the Head of Greenberg Traurig’s Competition and Consumer Protection Practice, supported by Associate Filip Drgas, and Senior Associate Maciej Pietrzak, supported by Associate Magdalena Medyńska, responsible for the corporate aspects of the transaction, including negotiations of the share purchase agreement and other ancillary documents. Partner Stephen Horvath from the London office provides strategic supervision over the English law corporate aspects of the transaction and negotiations.
