BERLIN – 9 July 2024 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig Germany, LLP advised NUMA Group GmbH (NUMA) on the acquisition of the lifestyle “Apart Hotel” and serviced apartment platform Native Places from seller Native Holdings. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

Native Places, headquartered in London, is one of the UK pioneers in the Apart Hotel and serviced apartment sector. Apart Hotels are hotels comprising apartments instead of standard rooms.

NUMA recently reached 2 billion euros in real estate assets under management and manages over 6,500 rooms and apartments in 34 major cities across 14 European countries. Native Places will add over 800 new units in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, and Glasgow to the NUMA real estate portfolio, bringing the total to over 7,300 units across Europe.

Based in Berlin, NUMA operates a fully digitized hospitality platform. As a partner to investors, owners, and developers, NUMA deploys proprietary technology-based solutions that largely automate operational processes.

A team of Greenberg Traurig lawyers in Berlin and London advised NUMA on all legal aspects of the cross-border transaction and coordinated the process.

Background:

This is the second opportunity Greenberg Traurig has advised NUMA, after the law firm prevailed in a pitch process. The Greenberg Traurig team advised NUMA on the cross-border acquisition of the platform YAYS in 2023.
