BOSTON – June 11, 2024 –Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Boston office hosted local business and government leaders for a Massachusetts Legislative Update June 4. The event featured Senator Michael J. Rodrigues as the keynote speaker and included a panel discussion focused on key bills, regulations, pressures, and policy trends shaping the landscape in Massachusetts. The Massachusetts Legislative Update was offered as part of the Boston office’s 25th anniversary speaker series.
The panel included Brian Johnson, President of MassMEDIC; Michael Heffernan, Former Cabinet Secretary of Administration & Finance, Commonwealth of Massachusetts; and David C. The panelists discussed budgetary spending, health care and economic development bills, energy industry considerations, and other legislative developments impacting businesses and industries across the Commonwealth.
