Kemal Hawa to Moderate Panel at Metro Connect USA

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Jan. 21, 2022 – Kemal Hawa, a shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Corporate Practice, will moderate a panel discussion titled “The Financial Ecosystem: Are We Seeing a New Class of Investors?” at Metro Connect USA Feb. 1 from 4-5 p.m. EST in Miami.

The panel will be comprised of some of the leading voices in the industry: Cecile Baker, Managing Director and Head of Communications, CM&T Leverage, TD Securities; Rich Cosgray, Managing Director, Head of TMT Internet Infrastructure Leveraged Finance, Truist Securities; Patrick Fear, Managing Director, AB Private Credit; Valtin Gallani, Director, Societe Generale; and Stephen Nettler, Managing Director, ING Capital LLC.

Hawa focuses his practice on corporate and securities law and transactions, with an emphasis on the telecommunications, media, tower, and technology industries domestically and internationally. He assists clients with the negotiation of transactions in the cloud computing space, including the negotiation of data center and colocation leases, globally. Hawa also has extensive experience in the negotiation of network infrastructure transactions, including submarine cable system consortium and private subsea cable deals, terrestrial fiber optic network transactions, and transactions involving antenna towers.
