Variety’s profile of Black noted that he is consistently engaged as the “go-to adviser” for senior entertainment and media executives entering and exiting employment contracts and for companies turning their intellectual property into films and television series. He has recently negotiated deals for toymaker Spin Master’s “Paw Patrol” movie and for Pokémon with Netflix and Universal Music Group.
