PHILADELPHIA – Nov. 16, 2020 – Real Estate Shareholder John Schwartz and Associate David Lipner, of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLPs Philadelphia office, will present on the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s 24th Annual Real Estate Institute Webinar on Dec. 4.
In a session titled “Commercial Purchase Agreements Basics,” Schwartz and Lipner will cover the fundamentals of negotiating a commercial real estate purchase and sale agreement, ancillary agreements useful during the PSA negotiation stage, due diligence issues, and other critical issues that practitioners should be wary of.
Schwartz focuses his practice on real estate finance, joint venture and acquisition and sale transactions. He has represented investment banks and insurance companies in commercial real estate financings, and pension fund advisory firms, insurance companies, private equity funds, REITs and other institutional investors in the acquisition, development and disposition of real property, joint venture transactions and real property secured financings. He has also represented lenders and other market participants in secondary market transactions, including whole loan and B-note sales, participations and securitizations.
Lipner represents and counsels clients in a range of complex transactional real estate matters including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, development projects, and joint ventures.
