NEW YORK – June 18, 2018 - Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s New York office held its annual 2018 Community Service week, June 4– 8. Attorneys and business staff participated in several events to benefit local community organizations.
The week’s activities included:
- Ryan’s Case for Smiles, Preparing “coping boxes” and sewing and ironing pillowcases to provide comfort and support to children with cancer and other serious life changing illnesses;
- Food Bank for New York City, Sorting donated food items for delivery to the food bank’s network of food pantries and community kitchens;
- Participating in a variety of activities with the students who attend S. 84 Jose De Diego School Magnet School for the Visual Arts; and
- Collecting donations for The VA New York Harbor Healthcare System and New Eyes for the Needy.
