New Department of Defense Clause Does Little to Educate Suppliers of Export Control Obligations

The U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) recently revised its standard export controls clause language in DOD contracts. To comply with the clause, DOD contractors and subcontractors must have effective export compliance programs in order to accurately determine what export control laws and regulations apply to a given contract.
