Corporate Shareholder John Owens will be speaking at the Caribbean Region Business Conference 2022 which will be held in person at the Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon on October 23-24, 2022.
Owens will speak at the plenary session entitled “Bridging the Digital Divide in the Caribbean”. This is a discussion of the expansion of internet access across the region; how companies and local governments are developing plans to increase access and foster greater digital inclusion; and how the continued impact of the covid-19 pandemic has made many industries and governments look to bridge the digital divide in a range of initiatives, from securing or optimizing supply chain management, to online payments, education, and online shopping.
Panelists will discuss projected future trends in the region and how developments could present significant opportunities for interested U.S. companies. The session will take place on Monday, October 24 at 11:40AM.
