Greenberg Traurig’s Education Practice comprises attorneys who are committed to working with colleges and universities to address the increasingly complex and myriad issues they face today, including those caused by changing demographics and a shifting regulatory and economic landscape. Our Higher Education team works with institutions to think broadly and strategically about future plans and goals while also addressing discreet issues as they arise. We utilize a multidisciplinary, cross-practice approach to craft proactive strategies and provide practical advice.

Our broad base of higher education experience includes, among other things, all forms of regulatory compliance, including government investigations and auditing; advice in connection with the financing, development and construction of core and noncore college and university assets; intellectual property and technology; sports law and athletics; student life and faculty issues; labor and employment; and complex contract and other business litigation matters.
