Dieter Neumann chairs the Infrastructure Practice in Germany. He focuses his practice on advising complex projects including public-private partnerships in the areas of traffic and transportation (airports, railroads, roads and waterways), telecommunications (IT and broadband networks as well as satellite infrastructure) healthcare, utilities (water, wastewater and waste), expansion of network infrastructure for energy transport as well as defense and security.
Dieter has broad and long-standing experience in advising both companies and investors as well as the public sector on complex project developments, including on public procurement law, public funding law and state aid law aspects of a transaction. His clients include numerous public authorities, national and international governments, as well as private and public companies, which he advises in particular on structuring and implementing complex procurement projects as well as comprehensively on public compliance law.
Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Dieter was partner for nine years at Olswang in Berlin and, before that, more than ten years partner in the area of public commercial law at Freshfields.
