WARSAW – 23 April 2025 – Greenberg Traurig advised American Heart of Poland Group (AHP Group) on the first private debt financing in the Polish market in a second lien structure, which was granted in parallel to existing senior syndicated financing to accelerate the modernization of public hospitals and the delivery of high‑quality cardiology and general medical services to local communities, reinforcing AHP’s role as a key partner in Poland’s publicly funded healthcare system.
The base amount of the new financing is EUR 200 million, capable of being increased by an additional EUR 30 million incremental tranche. The existing senior financing from a syndicate of five banks remains at approx. PLN 1.9 billion.
The transaction also constitutes the first financing provided by the CVC Credit funds in Poland.
Greenberg Traurig provided comprehensive advice on the transaction, working with AHP Group’s financial advisors.
