Randall C. Single represents clients in connection with a wide range of transactional real estate matters, including representation of both sponsor and investor clients in connection with real estate joint ventures, representation of both seller and purchaser clients in connection with commercial real property acquisitions and dispositions, representation of both borrower and lender clients in connection with real estate senior and mezzanine financings, representation of landlord and tenant clients in connection with commercial lease, and representation of developer clients in connection with commercial and residential development. He has experience with the foregoing across all asset classes, including office, multi-family, R&D/industrial/warehouse, retail, and residential projects. Randy joined the firm in February 2004 after serving as General Counsel for Divco West Properties, LLC for three years.

Experience
- Representation of Divco West Properties in connection with a $160mm recapitalization of a 2.5mm square foot warehouse development project in American Canyon, California with RREEF.
- Representation of Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Oaktree and ULLICO in connection with a recapitalization of the Playa Vista multi-use office and residential project in Los Angeles, California.
- Representation of the Bascom Group in connection with joint ventures with various capital partners, including Carlyle, CitiGroup, Oaktree, JP Morgan, Rockwood, Warburg Pincus, PCCP, General Electric and others, to acquire multi-family projects across the United States
- Representation of Farallon Capital Management in connection with joint ventures with various sponsors, including SKS Realty, TMG Partners and Larkspur in connection with the acquisition of office, hotel, residential and other projects across the United States.
- Representation of Invesco as lender in connection with three real estate senior and mezzanine loans in California of over $250mm, including the Taft Building in Los Angeles, the Crossings Apartments in Sunnyvale, and the Kimpton Hotel Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco
- Representation of Divco, Bascom, Harvest, Rubicon, Farallon and others in connection with various real estate loans across the United States.
- Representation of a joint venture between Stellar Management (now Maximus Partners) and Rockpoint Capital in connection with the acquisition of Parc Merced, a 3,5oo unit apartment project in San Francisco, California.
- Representation of Divco West in connection with the acquisition of over 10mm square feet of office and R&D projects in California, Massachusetts, and Texas, including 1900 and 1901 Avenue of the Stars office buildings in Century City, California.
- Represented Divco West Properties in connection with the disposition of over 8 million square feet of office and R&D projects in California, Massachusetts and Texas.
