PHILADELPHIA– April 28, 2025 –Sukhdeep S. Gill, associate in global law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP’s Philadelphia office, has been named a finalist for The Legal Intelligencer’s 2025 Pennsylvania Legal Awards “Most Promising Newcomer” award. Honorees will be recognized at an awards celebration June 12 at the Hilton at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia.
According to the publication, the awards highlight the work and achievements of attorneys and law firms across Pennsylvania and Delaware.
“I initially studied biomedical engineering, inspired by my dad’s back surgery, but I realized I wanted to do more work with clients, while still taking advantage of my technical skills,” said Gill, who is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Practice. “I was introduced to an intellectual property attorney who began his career as a scientist, and realized I could achieve both of my goals by pursuing the law. I found my niche, and my time as a lawyer has been nothing short of rewarding. I am honored that my work has been recognized by The Legal Intelligencer in this manner.”
Gill focuses on technology and IP transactions relating to strategy and diligence. He supports large-scale transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, spin-outs, and licenses, and handles IP risk-management for public and private companies.
