Greenberg Traurig’s Richard Kim Named ‘Trailblazer Honoree’ by the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York

NEW YORK – May 16, 2024 – Greenberg Traurig, LLP Shareholder Richard C. Kim, Global Finance Practice co-chair and New York Corporate Practice co-chair, was named a “Trailblazer Honoree” by the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York (KALAGNY). Honorees are recognized for their contributions to the Korean American community and the greater New York legal profession.

In addition to his legal practice representing private equity sponsors, public and private borrowers, lead arrangers and lenders in connection with leveraged financings, Kim is an active member of the New York legal community and serves as a Board Member of the Lawyers Alliance for New York, which is a non-profit organization providing transactional legal services for New York’s non-profit organizations and social enterprises. In addition, Kim is a co-chair of Greenberg Traurig’s Asian American Affinity Group (GTAAG) and the associate hiring co-chair and career development co-liaison for the firm’s largest office, New York. In 2022, he was named among Crain’s New York Business’ “Notable Asian Leaders” and was named a “Rising Star” by the New York Law Journal.
