The venture included the sale of OneWeb’s 50% interest in the joint venture to Airbus. Airbus and OneWeb formed the complex, strategic joint venture known as Airbus OneWeb Satellites in 2016 to design and manufacture low-cost, ultra-high performing satellites at high volumes for OneWeb’s first generation constellation.
