Greenberg Traurig Advises HR Group on Investment in Luca App

Greenberg Traurig has advised HR Group on a strategic investment in culture4life GmbH. culture4life operates the Luca app, a digital solution for process optimization and payment processing for the hospitality industry, which became known during the COVID pandemic.

HR Group is one of the largest hotel operators in Central Europe. The hotels operated by the HR Group include well-known international hotel groups rated with 4 or 5 stars. The Group's hotels accommodate around 10 million guests every year.

HR Group is joining culture4life as a strategic partner as part of an expansion of Luca's seed financing round. Together, HR Group and culture4life want to drive forward the digitalization of the hotel industry with the Luca app. The aim is to offer guests a platform and a standardized user profile for the entire hospitality sector: from restaurants and events to the hotel industry. From January 2024, payment, food, and drink ordering and digital check-in and check-out will be gradually introduced via the app.

Greenberg Traurig's lawyers provided comprehensive advice on the drafting and negotiation of the investment documentation.
