Greenberg Traurig’s Brandon Leon Selected for United States Global Leadership Coalition’s Next Gen Leadership Program

WEST PALM BEACH – Jan. 29, 2021 – Brandon Leon, an associate in the West Palm Beach office of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., has been selected to participate in the United States Global Leadership Coalition’s (USGLC) Next Gen Global Leaders Network program.

The USGLC is a network of 500 businesses and NGOs, national security and foreign policy experts, and business, faith-based, academic, military, and community leaders in all 50 states who support strategic investments to strengthen development and diplomacy alongside defense, according to the organization.

The Next Gen Global Leaders Network builds upon the USGLC’s networks across the country to recruit a diverse, bipartisan group of prominent young voices who support strategic investments in America’s development and diplomacy programs, according to USGLC.

The year-long training program began January 2021 with virtual classes taught by subject experts. Topics will include federal budgeting, development policy, media and communications skills, and advocacy training. Participants can hold speaking roles during USGLC events and participate in advocacy meetings on Capitol Hill.

Next Gen Global Leaders take part in the USGLC’s June 2021 Annual State Leaders Summit and are named to their State Advisory Committee upon completion of the full program.

“It is truly an honor to have been selected for the Next Gen Global Leaders Network and I am excited to begin taking an active role in this highly influential organization,” Leon said. “I look forward to supporting the many initiatives that USGLC sponsors with the goal of helping to educate others about the importance of international affairs in conversations about America’s global priorities.”
