Martin Borning is Local Partner in the energy and infrastructure group with a focus on advising on transactions, including joint ventures, co-operations and corporate restructurings, and projects in regulated industries.

Martin has longstanding experience advising companies and corporations in the energy and transportation sectors. On energy, he advises in the fields of conventional energy, in particular oil & gas, renewable energy and new energy, including hydrogen, carbon capture utilization and storage as well as e-fuels and battery storage. On transportation he advises on logistics and rail infrastructure and regulation as well as new mobility with charging stations and hydrogen fuel cells.

Among his clients are national and international corporations, investors and developers active in the fields of energy generation, upstream and midstream oil & gas, energy transportation, energy storage, energy trading, and energy services as well as infrastructure operators such as power and gas TSOs and operators of high-power charging stations for e-mobility as well as manufacturers and operators of commercial vehicles and rail vehicles.

Prior to joining the firm Martin has been a lawyer with Linklaters in the practice group Corporate/Energy for more than eight years.
