LOS ANGELES, CA — March 7, 2019 — Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP elevated Michael H. Davis, Ashley M. Farrell Pickett, Matthew L. Friedrich, Irene Pyun Kim, Jane Kim, and Lisa Li to shareholder. Colin W. Fraser, Michael D. Lane, and Saxon Peters were elevated to of counsel. All nine attorneys reside in the firm’s California offices.
Firm-wide, Greenberg Traurig announced the elevation of 32 attorneys to shareholder and 27 to of counsel/counsel in more than 20 areas of legal practice. The firm, which earlier this year opened its 30th office in the United States and 39th worldwide, also reported a fifth consecutive year of record revenue of more than USD $1.55 Billion, an increase of USD $80 Million over 2017.
Michael Davis (Los Angeles) represents real estate funds, REITs, institutional and non-institutional real estate investors, developers, operators, and financial institutions in a broad range of real estate matters.
Ashley Farrell Pickett (Los Angeles) is a litigator who focuses in the areas of employment and general business law. She has deep experience in both state and federal courts, ranging from complex individual claims to bet-the-company nationwide class actions.
Matthew Friedrich (Los Angeles) focuses his practice on commercial real estate matters, including the representation of private and institutional real estate investors, developers, and operators.
Irene Pyun Kim (Orange County) works with real estate investment trusts (REITs), real estate funds and their advisors, and banks in connection with the purchase and sale and financing of commercial properties.
Jane Kim (San Francisco) is a member of the firm’s Corporate Practice. She focuses on the representation of private equity funds and their portfolio companies, and also represents both public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, equity financings, and general corporate matters.
