This is the largest class of attorneys Greenberg Traurig has promoted to partner in Germany. The firm has elevated a total of six attorneys to partner since the opening of its German office in autumn 2015. With three new female partners this year, women partners in the firm’s Germany office increase to almost 30 percent, which is well above the current market average of around 10 percent.

“As part of our growth strategy, we are exploring new business areas in the field of corporate finance and investment funds, litigation, data protection, and FinTech, while expanding our market position in the real estate industry. Just like our partner elevations from the last two years, all candidates come from within our own ranks. These elevations speak to the development of our associates and Greenberg Traurig’s ability to offer career opportunities to young talents. I am particularly pleased to welcome another three women to our partnership,” said Christian Schede, managing partner of Greenberg Traurig Germany.

Anika Mitzkait strengthens the banking and finance group with a focus on real estate finance. She represents domestic and foreign banks as well as private and institutional investors and developers in financial transactions of all asset classes. Anika’s expertise also includes refinancing, financial restructuring, and loan sales.
