IRVINE – October 18, 2015 – The Orange County office of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP is the head sponsor of University of California Irvine School of Law’s Public Interest Law Fund (PILF)’s 5K annual race today, Sunday, October 18 at 9:00 a.m. at UCI’s Anteater Plaza.
The event will raise crucial funding for PILF, an organization that provides financial support to current UCI Law students committed to social justice and aiding the underserved communities in Orange County. PILF provides work stipends to law students and thus provides them with the ability to work at non-paying, full-time public interest jobs during the summer.
Shareholder Craig Glorioso and Of Counsel Irene Pyun Kim of the firm’s Real Estate practice have taken the lead on the firm’s sponsorship of this event, furthering the Orange County office’s commitment to strengthening and empowering its surrounding communities. Craig Glorioso is on the Board of Directors of the Susan G. Komen Orange County branch, and has been involved with several other community charitable events.
