August Huelle focuses his practice on the representation of financial institutions, public and privately held companies, boards of directors, employee benefit plan trustees, and individual corporate executives on matters related to executive compensation, employee benefits, and ERISA issues in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, restructuring, bankruptcy, and other strategic transactions.

August designs, negotiates, and drafts a wide variety of employment and compensation plans, policies, agreements, and awards. He also handles the preparation of securities filings and compliance with the Internal Revenue Code, labor laws, federal securities laws, ERISA, and exchange regulations.

Prior to entering private practice, August served as an investigator and benefits advisor at the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration, where he administered and enforced Title I of ERISA.
