DALLAS – Dec. 5, 2024 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP attorneys represented a New Jersey-based company engaged in the business of providing natural gas and clean energy services — NJR Clean Energy Ventures II Corporation and subsidiary of New Jersey Resources Corporation (NYSE: NJR) —in the sale of its residential solar portfolio to Delaware limited liability company Spruce Power 5, LLC, a subsidiary of Spruce Power Holding Corporation (NYSE: SPRU), for $132.5 million. The sale closed Nov. 25.
The deal was led by Corporate Practice Shareholders Seth E. Zuckerman, who is based in Greenberg Traurig’s New Jersey office, and Steven E. Bartz, who is based in the firm’s Dallas office.
The Greenberg Traurig team also included Corporate Shareholder John Thomas Holland; Corporate Associates Ryan Yergensen, Josh Candelario, and Kyle Jaep; Tax Shareholder Margaret J. Weil; and Antitrust Litigation & Competition Regulation Shareholder Stephen M. Pepper.
