NEW YORK – Nov. 7, 2024 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP received the most overall metro tier one rankings, with 281 metro rankings, in the 2025 Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” report for the 14th consecutive year. With 41 national tier one rankings, the firm also has received the second most national tier one rankings. With 322 total tier one rankings, both metro and national, Greenberg Traurig has the most combined tier one rankings this year.

Additionally, the firm was recognized as “Law Firm of the Year” in Trusts and Estates. Only one firm is awarded this recognition for each national practice area.

According to Best Lawyers®, firms included in the 2025 “Best Law Firms” are recognized for “professional excellence with persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers.” Achieving a tiered ranking “reflects the high level of respect a firm has earned among other leading lawyers and clients in the same communities and the same practice areas for their abilities, their professionalism and their integrity.” The 2025 Best Law Firms national rankings cover 75 practice areas, and 127 practice areas are covered on the metropolitan lists.

The 2025 rankings are based on the highest lawyer and firm participation to date, incorporating 23 million evaluations of more than 118,000 individual leading lawyers from more than 22,000 firms. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have at least one lawyer recognized in the 32nd edition of The Best Lawyers in America® list for that location and specialty.

Earlier in 2024, Greenberg Traurig was honored with the most attorneys listed in the combined 2025 editions of Best Lawyers in America and Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch publications.
