3 Greenberg Traurig Attorneys Named THR 2024 Power Lawyers

NEW YORK – May 12, 2024 – The Hollywood Reporter has named global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP Shareholder Mathew S. Rosengart to its 2024 Power Lawyers list. The publication also lists Shareholders Daniel H. Black and Jay L. Cooper as Legal Legends.

According to the publication, the list comprises “the dominant names and most brilliant minds in entertainment law.” The honorees are selected for their advice, guidance, and deals negotiated for some of the biggest stars, networks, studios, creators, and musicians in Hollywood.

Rosengart has represented iconic clients in both Hollywood and corporate America. In recently honoring him as one of the Top 200 lawyers in the United States, Forbes stated that “Rosengart brings the passion and legal expertise to private practice that made him notable as a federal prosecutor.” Rosengart was also named Benchmark Litigation’s 2024 Entertainment Litigator of the Year and in addition to being ranked one of the Top 100 lawyers in Los Angeles, he was recently listed in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “LA500” as one of Los Angeles’s most influential and impactful leaders.

Black, vice chair of the firm’s global Entertainment & Media Practice and chair of the West Coast Entertainment & Media Practice, has wide-ranging experience as both a private practitioner and lead in-house counsel on major transactions across film studios, television networks, streaming services, and web content producing entities.
