Greenberg Traurig’s Gregory S. Bombard and Marc T. Rasich to Speak at Trade Secrets IP Protection & Management USA

SAN DIEGO – March 13, 2023 – Gregory S. Bombard and Marc T. Rasich, shareholders in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Trade Secrets Practice, will speak at the Trade Secrets Intellectual Property (IP) Protection & Management Summit West Coast 2023 March 15-16 in San Diego.

Rasich will speak on a panel titled “In-House Industry Panel: How to Keep your ‘Secret Sauce’ Secret and Mitigate Misappropriation Risks” March 15 at 11:30 a.m. The panel will discuss methods for maintaining trade secrets, enhancing protections, trade secret IP asset inventory, and mitigating trade secret litigation.

Bombard will speak on a panel titled “Lessons Learned: US Trade Secret Litigation Strategy” March 16 at 11:15 a.m. The panel will discuss increasing trade secret misappropriation filings, prosecution and defending trade secret misappropriation claims, methods for pursuing trade secret litigation, and cost-effective strategies for litigating trade secrets.

Bombard is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on trade secret litigation. He also handles other IP litigation and complex commercial disputes. His trade secret clients are primarily in high tech industries, including biotech, medical devices, software, robotics, fintech, and manufacturing. Bombard is an author of the American Bar Association (ABA)’s Guide to Protecting and Litigating Trade Secrets, 2nd Ed. and co-chairs the ABA’s Trade Secret Litigation Subcommittee.

Rasich is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on trade secret and related IP and business tort claims.
