HARRISBURG, PA – Nov.30, 2016 – Joshua D. Cohen, shareholder in the Real Estate Practice of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Philadelphia office, spoke at the Homes Within Reach Conference in Harrisburg on Nov. 14.
Cohen’s workshop, titled “B2 Stronger Together: Mergers and Acquisitions to Preserve Affordability,” detailed the challenges and benefits of utilizing mergers & acquisitions, strategic alliances, and joint ventures to strengthen the nonprofit community’s ability to address housing and community development issues. Cohen’s presentation focused on critical path items and business terms for nonprofit organizations and for-profit developers to discuss and negotiate at the beginning stages of the applicable project.
