NEW YORK – July 21, 2015 – Joseph Agostino, an Intellectual Property & Technology shareholder at international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak at “The Evolving Paperless Office” inaugural program sponsored by Thomson Reuters taking place July 23, 2015, in New York City.
This invitation-only event is a comprehensive briefing on all aspects of going-all-digital initiatives and strategies at firms of all sizes. This program will feature a panel of law firm partners and business operations executives who are charged with the responsibility of making this goal a reality. Agostino will serve on the panel, which will take place from 9 a.m. – noon.
Agostino concentrates his practice in intellectual property law. Agostino prepares and prosecutes U.S. and foreign patent applications with a concentration in the mechanical arts, U.S. and foreign trademark applications, and copyright applications. He has negotiated and drafted various types of agreements relating to the transfer and licensing of intellectual property including patents, trademarks, and copyrights. Agostino handles various intellectual property disputes, including patent inter partes reviews, trademark opposition proceedings, patent and trademark litigation, anti-counterfeiting, and domain name disputes. He also negotiates and prepares various business agreements and documents, including confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements, and Internet-related agreements.
