DENVER – March 26 2015 – The University of Colorado Law School has honored Greenberg Traurig Co-President Brian Duffy and Denver Office Managing Shareholder David Palmer with an Alumni Award for Distinguished Achievement in Private Practice.
Now in its 34th year, the Law Alumni Awards Banquet is the University of Colorado Law School's signature alumni event, where the legal community celebrates and presents awards to distinguished alumni and others close to the law school. Duffy and Palmer received the honor during the school’s annual awards banquet March 11. Also recognized were Betty Carter Arkell, William R. Buck, and Michael I. Connor, as well as Roxanne Jensen and R. Stanton Dodge.
Duffy graduated from CU Law in 1991 and Palmer in 1970. They together joined the Greenberg Traurig Denver office on the same day in 2001 and both are members of the firm’s Litigation Practice.
Duffy is a president of the firm and previously served as chair of the firm’s 600-member Global Litigation Department from 2009 to 2013. He focuses his practice on trial and appellate work in the class action, employment, energy, commercial contract, and product liability areas, serving as national, regional, and local counsel in high-profile cases.
Palmer is managing shareholder of the Greenberg Traurig Denver office and heads the law firm's Commitment to Excellence Program.
