Logan spoke in the "Financial closing conditions in securities transactions" panel from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. BRT, alongside Ting Chen (Partner at Cravath, Swaine & Moore), Ivan Delgado (Partner at Perez-Llorca), Victoria Funes (Partner at Bomchil), and Roberto Guerrero V (Partner at Cuatrecasas). The Session Co-Chairs were Fabiola Cavalcanti (Partner at TozziniFreireAdvogados) and Luciana Tornovsky (Partner at Demarest Advogados).
The panel explored the use of different types of securities transactions in financing operations such assets, shares and bonds together, with practical examples of the most ordinary financing conditions precedent. Experts from different jurisdictions presented the current trends in their relevant countries in terms of closing conditions in securities transactions.
