Jared Raleigh is an experienced practitioner advising on large-scale and complex infrastructure and energy projects. Based in Singapore from 2011 to 2022, Jared advises on all phases of the development, structuring, and financing of infrastructure and energy projects and has broad experience in analyzing, negotiating, and drafting the full suite of project and finance documentation in established and emerging markets.

Jared has had practical experience throughout the Asia Pacific region, having worked for clients on projects in Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Japan, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, the Middle East and Australia.

Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Jared spent several years as a senior in-house lawyer and M&A executive at global mining, energy, and infrastructure companies, ensuring that he brings an understanding of the business needs of clients and commercial focus to his practice.

  • Advised sponsors on the project financing of the 218MW Angat hydropower project in San Lorenzo, the Philippines.°
  • Advised Marubeni Corporation on its bid for the US$1 billion Tavan Tolgoi independent power project in Mongolia.°
  • Advised a syndicate of 6 lenders on the development and financing of one of the largest independent crude oil and petroleum product storage terminals in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.°
  • Advised Exelon Corporation, America’s leading nuclear operator, on the formation of a new 50:50 joint venture with Japan Atomic Power Company, a pioneer in Japan’s nuclear power industry.°
  • Advised lenders to a consortium on their bid for the Al Abdaliyah Integrated Solar Combined Cycle Project in Kuwait.°
  • Advised a Chinese renewable power developer on a solar power project in Bangladesh.°
  • Advised procuring authority on all aspects of a proposed 315MW reservoir-based hydroelectric power plant on the Eg river in Mongolia.°
  • Advised private investor in relation to the proposed investment in the 1,200 MW Vung Ang II BOT Power Project.°
  • Advised procuring authority on its development of a commercial rock cavern storage facility for oil and petrochemicals in Singapore.°
  • Advised the lenders (including International Finance Corporation) on the debt and equity financing to a Sri Lanka corporation involved in a solid waste to energy project in western Sri Lanka.°
  • Advised the lender group in relation to the sponsors bid for Singapore's 6th IP Waste-to- Energy Project.°
  • Advised Malaysian utility in the development and construction of the:
    • Baram 1 Hydro-Electric Power Project°
    • Baleh Hydro-Electric Power Project°
    • 2 x 300MW Balingian Coal Fired Power Plant Project°
  • Advised international lenders on the limited recourse project financing for Singapore’s fourth desalination plant at Marina East Reservoir.°
  • Advised procuring authority on the development of a light rail transit system in Mauritius.°
  • Advised International Finance Corporation and the procuring authority, on the development of the Ninoy Aquino International Toll Expressway Project in the Philippines under a PPP concession arrangement.°
  • Advised the mandated lead arrangers on the limited recourse financing of the renovation, expansion, operation, and management of the Mactan-Cebu International Airport in the Philippines.°
  • Advised international lenders for the project financing of the construction, operation, and maintenance of the Srinagar Sonamarg Tunnelway Project in India.°
  • Advised a government development agency (working alongside a global multilateral bank) on the development of the Bandar Lampung water treatment and distribution PPP project.°
  • Advised local procuring authority (working alongside International Finance Corporation) on the renegotiation of tariffs payable under an existing Concession Agreement in Clark, Philippines.°
  • Advised government authority on the redevelopment of an existing international airport as a pilot PPP project in the Philippines.°
