Brian C. Doyle, Co-Managing Shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Long Island office, represents clients in real estate transactions, land use applications and litigated matters related to municipal determinations, construction, business and broker disputes, easements and adverse possession claims. In 2023, Brian was appointed to the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct. For many years, Brian chaired the Suffolk County Bar Association’s East End Committee and, later, was a member of its Judicial Screening Committee. Prior to entering private practice, Brian served as an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County.

  • Obtained the dismissal of claims brought against a Fortune 500 Company related to its rental of a furniture showroom in Westchester County.°
  • Obtained a determination annulling North Haven’s prohibition against the construction of docks along its western shoreline.°
  • Obtained an order restraining and enjoining a municipality and several charitable organizations seeking to relocate a dilapidated home to a vacant lot next door to his client without the benefit of permits.°  
  • Obtained an order restraining and enjoining a condominium owner from renovating a Sag Harbor unit during the summer season in violation of the condominium’s by-laws, rules, and regulations.°
  • Obtained a mandatory injunction permitting Montauk homeowners to prune trees and other vegetation on a neighbor’s land in order to preserve their view of the Atlantic Ocean.°  
  • Obtained the dismissal of claims brought against Montauk homeowners challenging the height of their newly constructed home and its alleged interference with a neighbor’s view of the Atlantic Ocean.°
  • Obtained a mandatory injunction and, later, a judgment permitting homeowners to travel a right of way to their home overlooking Long Island Sound.°
  • Obtained the dismissal of claims brought against a contractor by its subcontractor related to the construction of an oceanfront home in Water Mill.°
  • Obtained the dismissal of claims brought against a Southampton condominium owner related to the renovation and expansion of his unit.°
  • Obtained a trial verdict against a defaulting purchaser of waterfront real estate in Southampton.°
  • Obtained a trial verdict against a neighbor for diverting storm runoff onto his clients’ property.°
  • Obtained an arbitration award dismissing claims against and awarding damages to a contractor related to its renovation of a home in Southampton.°
  • Represented a global developer in the redevelopment of an oceanfront beach club in Westhampton Beach.°
  • Represented homeowners before the Sagaponack Village Zoning Board of Appeals and Architectural and Historic Review Board in the reconstruction of their oceanfront home.°
  • Represented homeowners before the Sagaponack Village Zoning Board of Appeals and Architectural and Historic Review Board in the preservation of a home and further development of a parcel in Sagaponack’s Historic District.°
  • Represented applicants before the Sagaponack Village Board related to their proposed subdivision of a fifty-acre oceanfront parcel.°
  • Represented applicants before the North Haven Village Board related to the subdivision, revegetation and redevelopment of a residential parcel overlooking Noyack Bay.°
  • Represented applicants before North Haven’s Village Board related to the applicants’ construction of a revetment and revegetation of a parcel overlooking Noyack Bay.°
