Greenberg Traurig Elevates 7 Attorneys in its Chicago Office

CHICAGO – Feb. 24, 2025 – Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP announced the elevation of Jacqueline Brousseau, Danny Duerdoth, Christopher A. Mair, Neal Robin, Paul F. Stibbe, and Brian D. Straw to shareholder, and Kieron A. Frazier to of counsel in its Chicago office.

Firmwide, Greenberg Traurig announced the elevation of 92 attorneys to shareholder, of counsel, and local partner. The 59 new shareholders span 26 offices and 13 primary practice areas. The 33 lawyers elevated to of counsel and local partner serve clients from 18 offices, practicing in 13 primary areas of law.

Brousseau, a member of the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice, focuses on trademark, copyright, trade dress, trade secret, and unfair competition matters. She has experience in brand protection strategy, intellectual property enforcement, and litigation, with knowledge spanning discovery, motion practice, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial.

Duerdoth, a member of the Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice, advises on complex corporate restructurings, with a focus on distressed health care companies. He represents debtors, creditors’ committees, receivers, landlords, and other creditors in bankruptcy and restructuring matters.

Mair, a member of the Litigation Practice, handles complex commercial and business litigation, representing major banks, credit card companies, student loan servicers, and other financial institutions. He also represents franchisors and automobile manufacturers in disputes involving breach of contract, consumer fraud, and franchise law violations.

Robin, a member of the Real Estate Practice, advises national developers, private and institutional investors, real estate fund sponsors, and family offices on their real estate investments and projects across multifamily, industrial, retail, and self-storage sectors throughout the United States.

Stibbe, a member of the Litigation Practice, focuses on commercial litigation, particularly real estate and construction disputes. He represents clients in joint venture and partnership disputes, landlord-tenant and shopping center disputes, conveyance and post-closing disputes among real estate buyers, sellers, brokers, and managers, hospitality industry management disputes, and condemnation matters.

Straw, a member of the Litigation Practice, concentrates on consumer class actions, business litigation, financial services, and securities litigation. He defends companies against false advertising claims related to product labeling, nutrition, and origin under the Lanham Act and state consumer protection laws.

Frazier, a member of the Gaming Practice, focuses on all aspects of team-level transactional work, financing transactions, media deals, public and private mergers and acquisitions, and other matters relating to general corporate and finance. He advises on a variety of gaming-related matters, including sports wagering, fantasy sports, and iGaming.
