Greenberg Traurig Advises Abris Capital Partners on Sale of Scanmed Group to American Heart of Poland

WARSAW – 7 May 2024 – Greenberg Traurig is advising Abris Capital Partners in connection with the acquisition of control of the Scanmed Group in Poland by the American Heart of Poland Group (backed by Gruppo San Donato Italy and GKSD Srl).

The finalization of the transaction will enable the American Heart of Poland Group, which specializes in the coordinated diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of lifestyle diseases, to double the size of its public healthcare sector and expand its territorial reach, offering post-merger medical care to 500,000 patients annually. The transaction is subject to consent of the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

The transaction is led by Michał Bobrzyński, Local Partner with the M&A Practice.

The team also includes: Partner and Head of the Competition Law Practice Robert Gago, Senior Associate Filip Drgas and Associate Adam Anduła.

Previously, Greenberg Traurig advised Abris Capital Partners on its acquisition of Scanmed Group in 2020. That transaction was also led by Michał Bobrzyński, under the supervision of Senior Partner Lejb Fogelman.
