WARSAW – 28 December 2022 – Greenberg Traurig acted as legal advisor to CVC Capital Partners in connection with the preliminary agreement related to the sale of 100% of the shares in PKP Energetyka S.A. to PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A.
Subject to receipt of required regulatory approvals and satisfaction of other conditions precedent, the transaction is expected to complete in April 2023.
Greenberg Traurig provided complex legal advice with respect to the transaction.
The transaction was supervised by Senior Partner Lejb Fogelman who provided strategic advice to the client. The transaction was led by Local Partner Michał Bobrzyński.
