Greenberg Traurig’s Nancy Taylor Participates in RFK Compass Live Session

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Sept. 11, 2020 – Nancy E. Taylor, shareholder and co-chair of the Health Care & FDA Practice at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, participated in the Robert F. Kennedy (RFK) Human Rights Compass Live session, “Healthcare Investing in a Pandemic:  Delivering Care While Seeking Opportunities.” The firm also sponsored the program.

RFK Compass Live virtual gatherings bring together key decision-makers in the investment community to help inform, challenge, and inspire asset owners and allocators to think differently about the effects their investments have on society. Similar to the RFK Compass Investor Conferences, RFK Compass Live engages its select network of asset owners and allocators as well as investment consultants and academics.

Taylor moderated the webinar, which included panelists Charles Boorady, Managing Director of Health Catalyst Capital; Scott Pittman, SVP and CIO of Mount Sinai Medical Center; and John DiGiovanni, Investment Partner at Arsenal Capital. The discussion focused on the innovative new business models arising from the pandemic, how reshaping the existing healthcare infrastructure can increase efficiency, and investment opportunities in the sector.

Taylor has broad experience working with providers, plans, employers, private equity firms, and FDA regulated companies. She advises clients on health care transactions, health and FDA regulatory policy and compliance, and responding to Congressional and Administration investigations and audits. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Taylor served 10 years as Health Policy Director for a Senate Committee and worked on a number of significant health and FDA laws. She also served as CEO of a start-up medical device company, where she obtained eight product clearances, including securing reimbursement coverage for each product.
