LAS VEGAS – May 14, 2015 – Ed Chansky, an Intellectual Property & Technology shareholder at international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, will speak on the California State Bar’s webinar panel titled “Advertising Law in the Digital Age - Part 3” taking place Thursday, May 14, 2015, from noon – 1 p.m. PT.
According to the California State Bar’s website, the discussion will focus on promotional and advertising issues in social media (other than sweepstakes/contests) such as coupons, rebates, gift cards, "free" offers, endorsements, negative-options, dot-com disclosures, IP, and right of publicity in social media content, etc. This is the third of a three-part webinar series that aims to equip participants with strategies and best practices for designing, clearing, and conducting advertising campaigns. The first webinar, held in March, focused on contests and sweepstakes and was conducted by Chansky.
