BOSTON — March 16, 2015 — Terence P. McCourt, Boston managing shareholder of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig and chairman of the Boston office’s Labor & Employment Practice, has been named to the Cambridge College Board of Trustees. McCourt was appointed by a unanimous board vote at the Feb. 27, 2015 meeting of the Board of Trustees.
Members of the Cambridge College Board of Trustees are responsible for the legal, managerial, and financial stewardship of the college. McCourt commented, “I am honored to serve as a Cambridge College Trustee, and I look forward to helping to advance the school’s mission to empower students from all walks of life to realize their maximum potential.”
At Greenberg Traurig, McCourt represents a broad range of organizations in all facets of labor and employment law. During more than two decades of practice, he has gained a national reputation for his practical, solution-oriented approach to employment law issues. McCourt is active in a number of other civic organizations and serves as a member of the Board of Overseers at Boston Children’s Hospital. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, he served as Deputy Chief Legal Counsel to the Governor of Massachusetts and General Counsel to the Massachusetts Secretary of Labor.
