PHILADELPHIA, PA (June 20, 2014) – Shareholder Kelly Dobbs Bunting from the Philadelphia office of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP recently accepted two roles with the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law. For the 2015 term, Bunting will serve as the International Law Section’s Liaison with the ABA’s Labor and Employment Law Section and as a member of the Steering Group for the International Employment Law Committee.
The ABA’s Section of International Law was founded in 1933 to promote interest, activity, and research in international and comparative law. The section’s membership now spans over 90 countries and includes more than 23,000 members. This year the international committee will meet in Buenos Aires October 21-25, 2014 and Washington D.C. April 28-May 2, 2015. Bunting is a long-time member of the ABA’s Labor and Employment Section’s International Labor and Employment Law Committee, and currently serves on its Diversity and Membership Development subcommittee.
Bunting, a member of Greenberg Traurig’s Labor & Employment Practice and Co-Chair of the firm’s Employment Training/Compliance group, handles a variety of employment litigation and counseling matters on behalf of employers around the world, including wage and hour class and collective actions; discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination and whistleblower litigation; non-competition, non-solicitation, FCPA and compliance issues; and L&E due diligence, employment and secondment agreements. Bunting is also a leader in GT”s Global Workforce Strategies initiative, a program that provides comprehensive and cost-effective labor and employment, immigration and compliance advice to multi-national corporations. She has been with GT for more than 8 years.
