Use of Generative AI for IP as a Tool for Patent Prosecution & IP Monetization

Barry Schindler and Joseph Agostino will present to the Rutgers University Licensing Group on the use of generative artificial intelligence tools for use in connection with intellectual property. This includes how the use of AI tools can be helpful creating and managing a robust patent portfolio. Various AI tools can be utilized in the life cycle of a patent, including (1) using AI to conduct an invention analysis, patentability and prior art searches, and right to use, infringement and competitor patent analysis, (2) using AI to assist in generating patent specifications, including invention embodiments, and (3) managing and analyzing the breadth and strength of a patent portfolio for maximum monetization.
