Margaret R. Marshall counsels clients primarily in the media and entertainment industries. Margaret’s wide-ranging experience includes artist representation, reality TV representation and start-up/high-growth company representation, as well as assisting a wide range of companies in connection with entity formation, structuring various complex transactions, joint venture agreements, debt and equity financing, and corporate governance.

- Represented major branding company in connection with the launch of a worldwide, one-of-a-kind promotion, which included a top selling iTunes compilation in 10 countries.
- Represented major music festival in connection with infusement of equity funding.
- Represented major EDM artist in connection with worldwide multi-year endorsement agreement in the automobile category.
- Represented major recording artist in connection with the establishment of a spirits import business.
- Represented one-of-a-kind reality TV show in the negotiation of talent and pilot and series agreements with a major network TV company.
- Counseled clients on issues relating to venture capital funding and private placement memorandums, including representing individual clients in connection with hedge fund investments and independent feature films.
- Represented a world renowned nonprofit entity owning rights to significant televised awards shows in connection with all sponsorship agreements activities with multiple major, international brands.
- Represented recording artist's branded restaurants, apparel and food products enterprises in connection with the securitization of its brands and intellectual property.
- Served as governing counsel for celebrity established private foundations and public charities.
