MILAN – Sept. 19, 2024 – Greenberg Traurig Santa Maria, together with Linklaters London and Linklaters Milan, advised Centerbridge Partners, L.P. in its acquisition of a 99.82% controlling stake in Banca Progetto S.p.A. from BPL HoldCo, a company owned by funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. The transaction is subject to regulatory and antitrust approvals by the respective authorities.
Banca Progetto is a leading Italian bank focused on small and medium-sized enterprises, offering products to Italian companies and European private customers, leveraging a best-in-class digital platform and a well-established network of agents throughout Italy.
