PayByPhone was acquired by FLEETCOR Technologies, Inc., a leading global business payments company. The acquisition expands FLEETCOR’s vehicle payment provider network for businesses and consumers in North America and Europe.
PayByPhone is one of the fastest growing mobile payments companies in the world, with over 6 million monthly active users throughout North America and Europe. FLEETCOR acquied PayByPhone from Volkswagen Financial Services.
The Volkswagen Financial Services deal team comprised Christian Fahrenholz and Sebastian Steffen, both of VWFS, assisted by a cross-border team from Greenberg Traurig offices in Amsterdam, Delaware, London, and Miami, including Wietse de Jong as lead, Robert Hardy, Jelmer Kalisvaart, Chazz Sutherland, Thomas van der Vliet, Nathan P.
