SAN FRANCISCO – Nov. 5, 2020 – Philip I. Person, a Labor & Employment Practice shareholder at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, participated in a Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) virtual webinar, “The Right to Arbitrate: The Employer’s Guide on Arbitration Agreements Under California Law,” held Nov. 5.
The webinar covered what employment attorneys need to know about arbitration agreements. Person, along with his fellow speakers, spoke about how arbitration agreements work within the employment law setting and also discussed recent developments in the various statutes and case law related to arbitration agreements under California law.
Person focuses his practice on representing employers in wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour, trade secret misappropriation, non-competition, non-solicitation, and whistleblower claims. He is an experienced litigator, having defended employers against single-plaintiff and class action litigation in both federal and state courts. He also represents employers in labor and employment arbitrations.
