BOSTON – Aug. 6, 2018 – Chinh H. Pham, chair of Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Emerging Technology Group and co-chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property (IP) Group in Boston, presented at the 2018 National Conference of Vietnamese American Attorneys (NCVAA) 12th Annual Conference, Aug. 3 – 4, 2018, in Atlanta, GA. NCVAA is the first ever national Vietnamese American bar association.
On Saturday, Aug. 4, Pham moderated the panel, “Forging Your Path to Partnership: Personal Stories and Practical Advice,” which featured law firm partners who shared personal stories about their path to partnership, obstacles and biases encountered, and offered advice on how associates can achieve their goals. Speakers ranged from recently elevated partners to senior equity partners, and hailed from small to Am Law 100 firms.
Pham represents technology clients and assists them in leveraging their IP portfolio for high-value commercial opportunities. He is chair of the Board of Overseers at the Museum of Science, Boston, and serves as an Attorney-in-Residence at Harvard’s Innovation Lab and Northwestern University’s The Garage, where he advises student entrepreneurs on their business ventures. Pham routinely engages law students at Boston area schools and volunteers his personal time to serve as a mentor to many young attorneys. He was named an “Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business," by the Asian American Business Development Center.
