Alejandro González Lajous is a member of the International Trade Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s Mexico City office. He focuses his practice in advising national and international companies on tax and administrative law, with on a concentration on international trade and customs for a variety of industries, including aviation and aerospace, maritime, and retail.

Additionally, Alejandro has assisted clients in ensuring the proper importation of goods, as well as obtaining the necessary permits for various types of merchandise entering Mexico. He has also defended companies against authorities in international trade matters before Mexican courts.

Moreover, he has contributed to investigations into unfair international trade practices and has experience advising on compliance with international trade agreements involving Mexico, including those related to the World Trade Organization.
