Expands California Trademark Prosecution and Counseling Practice
SILICON VALLEY, Calif. – May 4, 2015 – International law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP continues expanding in the Bay Area, most recently through the addition of Paul Anthony “Dash” McLean, who joined as shareholder in the Silicon Valley office. McLean focuses his practice on trademark and copyright counseling, prosecution, and enforcement. He represents U.S. and international companies in various fields including in the technology, entertainment, media, and retail sectors.

McLean counsels clients on selection, proper use, registrability, and enforcement of foreign and domestic trademarks and has prosecuted over 3,000 trademark applications. He is experienced drafting and implementing trademark licenses, settlements, and consent agreements and has devised comprehensive branding strategies for multi-national corporations. In addition, he has significant experience in online trademark infringement and domain name disputes.
McLean is the third shareholder to join Greenberg Traurig in Northern California in the past two months – following commercial litigators Howard Holderness and David Lisi.
McLean earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University and his B.A. from Stanford University.
