Rose Cordero Prey counsels clients on invention protection, portfolio management, patent litigation, licensing, and due diligence in the mechanical, electrical, computer science, and life science industries. With more than 20 years of experience in high tech intellectual property litigation, she has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in patent infringement and related litigation cases involving a wide array of technologies.

Rose represents clients before federal courts at the trial and appellate levels, and before the International Trade Commission. She handles post-grant proceedings in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and analyzes patent portfolios for due diligence related to mergers, acquisitions, and private equity investments.

She advises on matters involving a range of technologies, including consumer electronics, smartphone software, semiconductor fabrication and circuitry, laser diodes, wireless communication, network management, automotive systems, ceiling grid systems, computer and television display technology, security systems, fintech, remote banking, image capture systems, cellular immunotherapies, softgel encapsulation, and power centers.

Rose brings a unique perspective to her work because, while pursuing her undergraduate degree, she researched laser welding sponsored by the National Science Foundation; and she also has experience as an apprentice electrician.
